Dive Vids

Dinner with Friends

Most people misperceive sharks, some are still terrified of them, 90% of scuba divers love seeing sharks while spearfisherman mostly just find them a nuisance. Personally, I fall somewhere between the scuba divers and spearos depending on what my chosen activity may be for that given day. What I am not is terrified of them but appreciative of their existence and respect for their cooperation and capabilities while exploring their domain.

It doesn't matter if you're seeking an adrenaline rush or peaceful solitude, exploring the underwater world has it all. Here's what days at Cane Bay Dive Shop looks like. From locals on fun dives, classes, continuing education or visitors returning and exploring for the first time, it all starts with a splash! Follow, like and share for more, or come on down to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands to join in and be a part of the fun!

Bucketlist: Diving with Sharks

Diving with sharks, naturally, no cage, no chum. Imagine facing your fears or stroking your adrenal gland with a dive into clear blue Caribbean waters to be greeted by numerous reef sharks surrounding you. The reef sharks here on St. Croix have caught on to the free meals that come with spearfishing lion fish, a voracious and invasive species in this part of the world.

Welcome Aboard Ibis

We love the Ibis! Our gateway to the underwater world is facilitated by this beautiful vessel. Ibis is a single screw (one engine/propellor) 36' Newton dive vessel. We have showers, a camera bucket, camera table, marine head, and the most space of all the dive boats on St. Croix. Give us a like if you've been on Ibis before or if you'd like to go for a ride!
