Galaxy Eyed Smile
One of my favorite sea creatures to SEE, these long spine porcupine fish are very timid but if you are likable enough to get close they’re eyes are spectacular and look to me like little galaxies.
Animal Encounter TIP:
Remember when you’re diving or snorkeling to never harass or intentionally try to inflate any pufferfish as despite being a defense mechanism has been proven to be very strenuous on their hearts, some species only able to puff up a dozen or so times before it likely becoming fatal.
Dive Site: Sheraton Caverns, Kauai, Kingdom of Hawaii

Size: 2650 x 1879
